I know that I'm meaningless and I know very well that it's probably impossible

The longer it takes, the more hopeless I get.

When you never once turn and look at me

But now there's still time for me to find a good reason.

And even if the things that I do now, it might not make you feel good

but I have a request, to let you listen to

that's selected from my heart and it's only just for you.

Because now there's still time for me to find a good reason.

I got this moive quite sometimes, but have not watched it as yet. What a silly me! I bought it with Region 1 or something... but my player doesn't have access to that Region. Maybe it is too old? Anyway, even though I've not watched it I seem to know the plot of it.

It is just coincident that I feel the word "unfaithful' is attacking me. Am I unfaithful to you? Or Are you unfaithful to me? When we are committed, is it right to hold someone else in our arms? and come back to your lover that .. "now I know how much that person meant to me"

It was just coincident, I found this book again in my old junky boxes at my parent place, wanted to put it on sales at my second hand book shop. It is always my habit to sign and put the date of purchase on each book...and this book was marked as Nov 02, 2000!!!

It was 9 years I had it with me. Once I read it again last night, it brings back a lot of my memory...why I've this book withe me since the first place.

One of young designer, he has good sense of humour and he has passion on buffalo. He said his hometown is at Suphanburi where used to have a lot of buffalo for farming (in rice field). It is nice thought of him to do something about buffalo, since these days farmer doesn't use Buffalo as a helper during growing rice.

Yes, Trust no one! I learn this myself again not long ago. Same lesson from same teacher! It is such an old trick you gave me. That was all!

By coincident, I got this word "TRUST NO ONE" from movie I watched last night too. I got New James Bond 007 movie to watch, casted by Daniel Craig. It should not be called new anymore since his 2nd Bond film was published earlier. I was just so slow to get this movie. Oversall is good, Bond is smart, charming and dangerous just the same! Possibly this guy has more firmed body? For my personal, I prefer Pierce's voice. When he talks, it is more charming though :)

This is an extension of my post My Bangkok through my eyes!: Suan Pakkard Palace, the red flower is called Queen of Tropic Flower with its scientific name as Hibiscus syriacus L.; Hibiscus chinenis DC. in Family of Hibiscus.

This purple Water Lilly is nice too, my personal choice of color is always purple :) Water Lilies live in freshwater areas in temperate and tropical climates around the world.

Creamy-Greenish Bougainvillea or easyily called as Paper Flowers are cute one too.

Bougainvilleas are popular ornamental plants in most areas with warm climates, including the Philippines, Thailand, Pakistan, India etc.

Of course it is not Christmas yet, wherever in this world especially in Thailand. I have a feeling I want to post this before it is too old in my memory. I'm leaving this lovely place, lovely people. This was latest Christmas party we used to have together.

All staff were happy that time, and I'm sure they still are even without me!

This post is related to Thailand In Photos: Wangtakrai Waterfall, Nakhon Nayok I took this photo while we were walking in fresh market in Nakhon Nayok province. It was very local fresh market where you can find lot of fresh vegetable, meat and fish as well. I captured this photo as the way they laid the fish was so cute. It is coincident that the name of this fish in Thai is pronounce as "Pla Tu", which is similar voice as "A Fish of Two". (PLA = Fish in Thai)

I like it very much, I was forced by situation that day. My other shoes which I wore have torn out and I can't walk to anywhere. So I needed to get new shoes immediately. Although it was a cheapest in that luxury shoes shop in Central World Plaza, it cost me a lot!!! Later on it become by favourite one, it goes with me every where!

Now it is already broken, can't wear it anymore. I miss it.

I passed by this PR car about a few months ago while the movie called "The Best of Time" was launched and this car represented about the movie. It is about love and forget. They set the goldfish to be theme of movie and say .. what if we could forget our bad love easily like goldfish does (as it has short memory) would this be best for us?

I've seen the dog owner tide him up here outside the shop and he went into shop (warm for sure) buying stuffs..and the dog was left outside, he was a bit curious, once I try to take picture of him, he started to be grumpy! Actually I've nothing much to update here, seem I have too many blogs these days. This blog is my first blog with blogger, and at started point I don't have much idea what I should write in here, so I bring some books which I like, coffee shops I used to go or my visited places to share. Some of them I only got review from magazine LOL...

Anyway, just feel want to post this dog photo, His name is Banana. I got this photo from my friend at work, we were taking lunch break on hot day in Bangkok. Banana lives not far from my work place and he often comes to play with us. From this pic, he is hungry I know.

Maybe tomorrow I'll post about Thai politic situation a little bit, maybe some foreigner or tourist want to know what is going on here. I know that the news everything looks terrible,

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

Artemis Fowl is a twelve-year-old boy who just happens to be both a genius and a criminal mastermind. In a desperate attempt to restore his family's fortune, Artemis comes up with a plan to steal gold from the fairies. Along with his trusty butler sidekick "Butler", he travels to Vietnam on a quest to find a volume of fairy commandments. Once this is achieved and the book deciphered, the next logical step would be to kidnap a fairy and wait for the ransom money to arrive. However, when Artemis kidnaps Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon, it seems he's made a mistake. Because these aren't the cute little elves of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed, dangerous and ready to fight. And they will stop at nothing to get Holly back.

The main characters are all unique and loveable, particularly Holly, Foaly and Root. Even the anti-hero, Artemis Fowl himself is strangely appealing, despite his more dubious characteristics. As the book goes on, you begin to see that he does indeed possess a conscience, he is just careful never to let it get in the way of his evil schemes.

Artemis Fowl is full of humour and action. The author has produced an imaginative, fast-paced adventure, which combines magic and technology. The style of narrative is fairly informal, making it easier and more enjoyable to read. Although the first chapter is quite slow, the action soon speeds up and never stops. The story was absorbing, exciting and I read it straight through in a couple of hours without stopping.

Artemis Fowl is a completely original work but is still deserving of all the hype. I am sure I will be buying any future books in the series.

Here is the answer, Septimus Heap, the seventh son of a seventh son, died shortly after birth. Born to a family of Wizards, there's no telling what he might have become, as his lineage as a seventh son would have made him unbelievably magical.

Magyk (Septimus Heap, Book 1)
This book started out slow for me-I read it religiously for a few nights, then didn't read it for a couple. When I picked it back up, it really caught my interest and I couldn't stop reading it! I'm looking forward to reading the second one, Flyte, since I think that this one had a lot of background information that made it a little slower for me. It was very interesting and creative, though, with magical things I had never even thought about! Worth the read, definitely!

Flyte (Septimus Heap, Book 2)

This is a good 2nd book in the series. Septimus finds himself in a situation to wake a dragon with his special powers. This had a lot of suspenseful adventures and some interesting twists. Overall a good read!

Physik (Septimus Heap, Book 3)
What can I say? I'm a big fan of this series! Ghosts, Witches, dragons, spells, secret cupboards and tunnels, boggarts, sailing ships, queens, wizards, herbs and magic rings...everything you could possibly imagine in a magical Castle realm. Mix that with Shakespearean-style mischief: comedy-of-errors(very human errors!)and mistaken identity. On top of all that--the characters are loveably ordinary; the children make friends in such a natural, uncalculated way, and the adults are so...imperfect. Lots of fun!

Queste (Septimus Heap, Book 4)
This is the fourth book in the Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage, and I have to say that it's as good as the other three. I enjoy the characters, the settings, the stylistic originalities. It is not a Harry Potter clone, it can stand well on its own. Good story, likable people, cool magic, even a dragon and some ghosts thrown in, with enough chilling "Darke Magyk" to raise the hair on the back of my neck, without being as scary as some of the later Potter books. Nice for younger fans, and I think it would make a great read-aloud series for a family as well.

Ancient City (Muang Boran)

What a great day out of Bangkok... The place is a huge green park filled with features from all around Thailand - the buildings, bridges and monumbets are of 3 types: real and removed from there original site; replicas of originals (often those which no longer exist); and creative designs of Thai styles.

It may sound a little boring just looking at pretend buildings, but the park is so big, tranquil and well-maintained, and the detail in each site is just phenomenal. They are still making the park bigger, but there is more than enough to see already.The park was also quiet and we went on a Sunday. Maybe the scale of the park ensures it doesn't feel too busy, but the car park was near full! It seems that they are creating and maintaining this park so well, so that Thai culture and history will remain perfectly preserved for future generations and visitors.Entry is 300Bt pp, and the are many ways to get around the park, and you can chose depending on budget, time, weather and preference. Easy Map is here.

Many people were out on the free bikes provided (we saw a few tandems and triples too, I presume they also belong to the park but not sure); A guided cart/buggy (not sure on cost etc); Self drive electric golf carts - we chose this and had a cart for the two of us for 3 hours for 500Bt - Great fun! But I'd advise you to do the 3 hours, as less time would not have been enough for us.Hopefully the photos will show how amazing the place is.

Getting there by bus was a little tricky - take AC bus 511 from the city (we got it from near Democracy Monument in Banglumphu). Tell them you are going to Muang Boran, and ask them to let you know when to get off (it took us around 50minutes). When you do get off you have to get a green(or white) pick up truck shared taxi - number 36. Tell your fellow passengers you're trying to get to Muang Boran or Ancient Siam, and they're likely to help you out and tell you when to buzz the bell on the roof to get off (about 15-20 minutes, it's on the left). You pay the driver when you get off.

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

The story tells of the two childhood friends Amir and Hassan. Amir is the wealthy son of a very important figure in Afghanista, while Hassan is thier 'Hazara' servant, and the son of Ali, thier long time servant.

Amir is an insecure person, someone who's always pushed around and bullied by other kids, and always defended by his all time friend, Hassan, who sticks out for him no matter what. Amir always felt that his father hates him, and was always hoping and wishing for his father's love and approval, no matter what the costs are. Eventually, Amir's 'way' of getting his father's love works out, on the expense of his loyal friend Hassan. The outcome of Amir's action lands Hassan out of the house, and Amir in a continuent guilt.

After the soviet invasion to Afghanistan, Amir and his father flee to America, on a search for a new life. But one phone call, after almost 25 years from leaving Afghanistan, leads Amir back to his childhood place, and gives him yet another chance to reconcile with the past, and make up for his mistake towards Hassan, the mistake that, on the long run, led to Hassan's murder.

The story is heart-breaking, it literally made me cry. I can promise you, after you read this book, your heart will skip a beat everytime you see a kite in the sky.

Dasa

The word "dāsa" itself means "slave" or "servant". They chose this name because it conveys the meaning that all book lovers are "slave" in the sense that they can't live without books or reading (I myself one of the book slave too). The name also has a nice Asian touch to it and is also quite catchy.

Dasa is good combination of good book with tasty coffee. It is located in the heart of Bangkok called Sukhumvit, easy map guide is here

Coffee Rhapsody

They named themself as The Boutique Coffee Shop, with retro furniture of 50's - 70's, and also Art Gallery for exhibiting photographs. You will find new photos when they change the events. I reckon Coffee Rhapsody is the photograper's community groups too. Camera's lover shouldn't miss it.

by the way, recommended menu is Phapsody waffle, it is crispy waffle from oven serve with Vanilla ices cream.

Lubid Coffee House

It is not only coffee but rather called as desinger cafe house. It is great mix of Office, Studio and Designer's community by Karn Boontarik This place is fulled with designed decoration, imagine yourself get the drink of Iced Cafe Caramel Latte next to swiming pool, play domino game along.

To reach here you need a car, it is quite complicated to go but worth though. Here is map for it, you may need someone to translate into English for you, anyway drinking coffee should not come alone, right?

It is addicted place since morning by great coffee and bakery, you will love the variety menus of drinks. My personal choice is green tea, and all the coffee blend is from Doitung Development Foundation. It has great support from UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime). Talk about bakery, there are plenty of them of you think of like Chocolate mousse, Shock Ball, Pie Blueberry, Chocolate Caramel and Brownies. Love all of them you know!

How to get to Mousse Mellow Café , here you are MAP You need a car for this, but if you like Bangkok adventure, bus is fine too. No subway or skytrain available in this area, but soon to come.

Cafe de Norasingha

From thins I've heard this place is first coffee shop in Siam (formerly Thailand's name) since King Rama 6 (now we are with King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the ninth king of the House of Chakri,), it was located in Palace, so it is classy one! It was closed during the WWII and re-open again once Bureau of The Royal Household renovated the Phyathai Palace. Going there you can have sightseeing of how beautiful Thai Palace are.

It is coffee with history, good for new comer to Bangkok I believe.

Vivi, The Coffee Place

It is well known coffee shop for several years as it is close to Bangkok Tourist attraction points, it is located near the river. You can get rid of your rush mood as city lifestyle.

It is not far from Musuem Siam, here is map, you need to walk a little bit further from this. you will see a Bank Thai in front of the street, which is quite visible. Just go inside that road, then you'll see it. You won't get lost I'm sure.

A refreshment corner where providing freshly brewed coffee, beverages, and tasty light dishes. It is second fine work of Vanno Family, first Mr. Surath Vanno has work in Tropical Garden and decoration, his portfolio is published in many well-known magazines. And his daughter created this Cafe portion. It is quite relaxing place to go, real nature freshen your mind I reckon.

Neo Blythe is born in time for Blythe's first exhibition and photo book!

In June 2001, Blythe's photography exhibition "Blythe by Gina Garan" was held at Shibuya PARCO. The exhibition later traveled to other stores.
At the same time, CWC joined forces with Takara to produce the very first Neo Blythe "PARCO Limited," who debuted at the exhibition. Fans started lining up outside the store a day before the opening, and the doll was sold out in less than an hour.
Gina Garan was present at the opening party for a signing and an interview.

Blythe debuts in Japan as a model, produced by CWC!

Blythe first appears in PARCO's Christmas TV commercial campaign. As soon as it aired, PARCO was swamped with inquiries asking what the doll was all about. Years later, people are still talking about that spot. Blythe continues to appear in the media through spring and summer of 2001 as PARCO's image model.

Junko makes a presentation to PARCO to use Blythe for their Christmas Campaign. Parco is one of the most popular department store chains in Japan and a long time CWC client. PARCO loves the idea, and CWC produces a 15 second TVCF for Parco for their 2000 Christmas campaign. This TVCF is soon to become legendary in the history of Blythe.

Blythe (pronounced [blaɪθ]) is a doll created in 1972 by designer Allison Katzman with the now-defunct U.S. toy company Kenner. Reportedly, she was modelled after drawings by Margaret Keane, similarly to many other dolls of the '60s and '70s. Her most distinctive and notable feature were eyes that changed color with the pull of a string attached to the back of her head. Due to a lack of interest, Blythe dolls were only sold for one year in the U.S. (produced in Hong Kong), during 1972.

History
Blythe was created in 1972 by designer Allison Katzman and marketed for one year in the USA by toy company Kenner. The doll would only become popular some 30 years later.
In 1997, New York TV and video producer Gina Garan was given a 1972 Kenner Blythe by a friend and began using it to practice her photographic skills. She began taking her Blythe everywhere with her and took hundreds of photos. In 1999, she was introduced to CWC's Junko Wong by artist and illustrator, Jeffrey Fulvimari which brought Blythe to the attention of Parco and toy executives. In 2002, Gina published her first book of Blythe photography with Chronicle Books, This is Blythe. Later that year, Hasbro (the Trademark and License owner) gave Takara of Japan a license to produce the New Edition of Blythe (NEO Blythe). Blythe was used in a television advertising campaign by the Parco department store in Japan and was an instant hit. Success in Japan led Hasbro to issue a license to Ashton Drake Galleries (ADG)to produce Blythe exclusively in the U.S., where the doll become a niche product in a marginal market, selling largely to adults.

In 2003 Blythe was the subject in a segment on the popular VH1 special, I Love the 70s, where she was said to look like either "Barbie with elephantiasis" or "Christina Ricci" among other things.

In 2004, the Ashton-Drake Galleries began to produce their own Blythe replica dolls in the United States.

A vibrant Blythe subculture flourishes on the Internet, predominantly in forums and user groups. There is a large network of hobbyists who customise the doll for resale, people who create unique clothing and shoes, as well as accessories specifically for Blythe.

Dolls
There are two types of Blythe dolls: the 28cm (1/6th scale) "NEO" and the 11.2 cm "Petit Blythe." Only NEO Blythes have colour-changing eyes, which include the colours blue, green, orange, and pink (except for cases with limited-edition dolls). Newer releases of the Petit Blythe dolls have moveable eyelids and bendable bodies.
A smaller Kubrick version of Blythe also exists.
The measurements of Blythe: 4.17-2.76-3.89 (in inches) or 106-70-99 (in mm). The measurements of Petit Blythe: 1.77-1.18-16.5 (in inches) or 45-30-42 (in mm).
Blythe dolls range in price (at release date) from USD$60 (ADG versions) upwards of USD$300 (limited edition NEOs). Older dolls are sought after in the collectors market, and can sell for as high as several thousand dollars for a Kenner to a thousand dollars or more for the first edition NEO.

Blythe bodies (neo)
The bodies of Blythe varies depending on the time of the release. Earlier releases uses the BL (basic Licca) body, which has some disadvantages. For example, the legs do not bend as well as the later releases.

BL: June 2001-March 2002. Licca body is used, eyes glance further to the side, matte face for some models. Some also have boggled eyes so the upper lid does not show on their eyes. Hair is also generally thinner.

EBL (Excellent): June 2002-October 2003. New body is introduced. Unlike the earlier Licca body, EBL bodies do not have bendable arms, though their legs have three "clicks" at the knee. Faces are shinier.

SBL (Superior): February 2004-present. New face mould and new sparkly eye chips. The new head of the doll is fashioned from a complete piece of plastic.
RBL (Radiance): December 2006-present. New face mould to look more Kenner-like, including a slightly wider eyes.

Ashton Drake Galleries also produced a replica of the 4 originals Kenners, with similar boxes and the same outfits and hair colours. They tried to make the face mould more similar to the original Kenner. Noticeable differences are the skin-tone has a slight green tint, eye holes are wider, and the colours of the make-up quite vibrant.

Blythe designs
Takara frequently releases new versions of Blythe. They are usually first shown by a vector-styled design with variations before it is confirmed.
There have been over a 100 releases of Takara Blythe in the Neo size from 2001-2008, and around 80 different Petite Takara Blythe releases. Several Blythe related books have been released, the most significant one being This is Blythe.
